I was wondering if someone could tell me the conversions for an unweighted GPA from a 4.0 scale to out of 100.

Or could someone just tell me what an unweighted 94 out of 100 is equal to on the 4.0 scale?

i belive a 93% is a 3.8 on the scale, so yours should be somewhere close to that =]

Anyone know all of the conversions and not just mine?

This is from Columbia's website:
From Columbia's website for International students:

My course grades on my undergraduate transcript are based on a different scale from Columbia’s. What can I do?

You need to get your transcript officially converted to the GPA scale by an appropriate agency (GPA is on a 0-4 scale) before submitting it. It is your responsibility to complete this conversion and the C.S. Dept. does not provide recommendations of which agency to use. For the online application, you can enter an approximate conversion of your percentage grade. A guide is given below:

Grade Grade Point

Approximate % Equivalent
A+ 4.0 90-100
A 4.0 85-89
A- 3.7 80-84
B+ 3.3 77-79
B 3.0 73-76
B- 2.7 70-72
C+ 2.3 67-69
C 2.0 63-66
C- 1.7 60-62
D+ 1.3 57-59
D 1.0 53-56
D- 0.7 50-52

^that's for columbia college, not for high school students. I WISH that an 85 was a 4.0...

My understanding (which coincides with Nikki's 3.8=93) is that 95 is a 4.0. For every point plus or minus, it is plus or minus 0.1 on the GPA scale. Therefore, 94 is a 3.9. Some schools may have different scales, but this one I think is the most widely used.

Reasoning:
95 is the quintessential A, therefore 95 is 4.0.
85 is the quintessential B, therefore 85 is 3.0.
-10 points/100 = -1.0 points/4.0
1 point/100 = 0.1 point/4.0
