Converting your Barron's SAT Chem Score to the Real thing

I scored a 700, a 720, and between a 720-750 on 3 of the Barron's practice tests in the practice book for SAT Chemistry.

How do you think that will bode for my scores in about 12 days, and also is there anyway I can get them before the said date? Like on the phone...?

I don't think you can get them any earlier than the online versions. I think you should get around 750+ on the real thing

I thought I was the only person counting down the days till I get my scores lol. You will probably get a pretty high score. After all, Barron's has notoriously hard practice tests. Good luck!

i got 2 700's and 2 750's when i took the barron's chem tests. i ended up with a 780. :)

good luck!

expect at least 30-50 point increase on the real thing

Is that really true though? Because even the Barron's scale is already pretty generous already (65 raw score on Barron's = 750, whereas 65 on CB SAT Subject Tests book = 710.

Is the real test a lot easier than Barron's and just a harsher curve?

I can tell you a couple hours later.

the real test is easier, but the Barron's curve is also kinda generous. Because of this, you should probably expect a modest increase in score for the real test. I believe my score was about 40 points higher on the actual thing.
