Convince me into going to Columbia

How did that choice work out for him?

friend who flipped the coin?

according to my friend who told me this story (i asked the same question) he said he obviously couldn't compare it to duke and never gave me a decisive answer. it wasn't a definite "he loves it" or anything, but wasn't "he hates it" either

AFA! hey, i had no idea you got into both of these. THAT'S AMAZING, i am soooo happy for you!

but now you have to choose...that is really tough. Well think of other factors too - Penn is supposedly really preprofessional and doesn't have as strong a humanities department, which you may need if you decide not to go for business. Penn is like twice the size of Columbia too...I think I liked Penn's people better, when I visited each twice. But Columbia supposedly has really ****ty dorms and food. And Penn, I think, has more loyalty to the school, whereas Columbia kids have more loyalty to the city. Neither is necessarily bad, it's just your take on it that's important.

I'm so proud of and thrilled for you, Andrea! I'm sure you'll have an amazing four years no matter where you end up. But if it's Penn, I'll bet choco and Catch will stalk you, which may be interesting lol!

Looooove,
blu!

hahaha hey renny we had to make our decisions by now. i picked penn. yeah. that loyalty (even before i got in) sure shows.

i debated for so long though! it was crazy and stressful. you're on target w/ everything you said haha... the 2nd columbia visit compared to the 3rd penn visit did it for me. i was like eh it's nice, but no.

i hope i'll have a great four years.. and i really hope you do, too. what'd you decide on?

<3 back,
afa.. (haha. remember how we were discussing how it'd be weird if we met up because we'd associate usernames with each other instead of real names)

and that whole rooming together thing XP ...
anu's going to berk and (ah brain fart.. streetlight...) MIT, i think?

hahah yup! i know...if i met you i'd call you afa, i swear. alas, Penn said no to me, which is totally fine because i went Dartmouth-crazy soon after we got deferred. now i'm just waiting for Dartmouth or Columbia to wake up to how much they desperately want to take me off the waitlist! because honestly, I don't REALLY want to go to Tufts lol.

GOOD LUCK! too bad you won't be able to room with Anu...LOL remember how streetlight said that if he and i roomed together, we'd never leave the room because we'd "never stop having sex"? Well he actually wanted to meet up with me in person at one point. The memory of that rooming conversation was too strong in my mind for me to say yes hahaha

LOL oh mannn X)
yea the image that i have of you is ... well, the one of you standing by some guy wearing a black dress. lol. yeaaah...
aww tufts is an awesome school.. (i was waitlisted there, lol) and two of my closest friends are going there (dream school for one of them)! i think four total from our school this year. =) power to nj ppl lol. oh and i know someone from ridge going there. um, and i know four people who are there already from last year! if you need some ppl to talk to...

also i know a lot of people who don't get into their top choices end up really really happy at their schools (and vice versa). i think you'll definitely love it wherever you go.. you seem like that kind of person.

that streetlight thing? hahaha. i wonder if he's still w/ his girlfriend. they were together for like fifty years since i last talked to him =P... and i think i listened to their band on purevolume once...

LOL look at our post numbers. ahaha you were like the newbie at some point and then you started surpassing many of us.. ah. i'm such a cc dork.
