Convince me

CONVINCE ME to go to ucsd !!
Why should I go there?
I am a polisci major and going to have to pay oos tuition!!
HELP
(need an social scene FYI)

Since finances and the social scene aren’t exactly in your favor right now, maybe you should consider other places. What else are you looking at?

Gw and my twin going it would be half off but…
I already have had 17yrs with her

But ucsd is in California !!!

College is a big place. You don’t have to see your sister if you don’t want to.

stick with your twin!
as Oyama said, you don’t always have to see her (unless you room together which would save money).
you can still do your own thing without your sister, having family close is a big benefit though, imo. i wish i had a sibling to go through college with…it’s like a friend that’ll never leave no matter what.

is your sister in a different college than you? I know a pair of twins that goes to SD but because they live on like complete opposite side of the campus, they see each other so little that the other one didn’t even know his sister was dating someone.

UCSD’s PoliSci program is excellent, but I feel like you’ll probably have more internship opportunities and connections if you live in DC. Both are great schools.

SD doesn’t have a crazy USC-type social scene. If you want that type you’re going to have to join a frat/sorority.

the poli sci department is incredible here. (i’ve been a poli sci/international relations major since i entered into the university and have not been tempted to change it simply because of the department and what it has to offer.)
and sure living in dc will give you more exposure to internship opportunities, but the ucdc program allows you to create those opportunities for yourself. you should look into it.

on another note, if you need someone to convince you to go to a school, that’s obviously not the school for you.
