convocation live streaming?

For my family who will not be attending..

The brochure states "The ceremony will also be broadcast live via the University’s website at convocation.uchicago.edu."

I wonder if there will be a big link on that page on Saturday for my very tech illiterate relatives? (whom I pray will not be calling me during the ceremony for help!!) If possible I'd like to give them the most direct link.

I found this link, but the event date is not current so wonder if it is obsolete

There is also this link, which came from the uchicago live facebook page and looks more promising

Any recent experiences, even though it might have changed since last June?

Our flight yesterday was canceled, so we’ll be missing seeing our kid graduate. All other flights were sold out. :frowning: I’m leaving today, but won’t get to campus until mid-afternoon. So I’m also interested in any information on livestreaming.

I looked myself and I could not find information on live streaming, which is a bit strange. I do know they always tape the convocations and make them available on the web site later.

It just went live

go to Uchicago facebook page and click uchicago live

My family was able to see the afternoon section and my daughter walking across the stage. :-bd
