Cookie-Cutter ECs? Chance me SVP :)

<p>Hi there! I've recently discovered this site and think that it's great that people are willing to give each other advice on their chances of acceptance at "top schools." Reading about everyone's EC's have been equally intimidating and inspiring. What I'd like to know is, given my EC's (which I'm afraid are a bit too run-of-the-mill) and academic record, can I hope to have a shot at admission to semi-top-tier schools, such as UCLA and NYU? </p>

SAT I: 2110 composite
Haven't taken subject tests yet.
