Racial equality? So you're saying that you have to be black or white to rap? I don't see how what I'm saying is even just "PC rhetoric." It's common sense. By the same token, you could pull the same line that people pulled on Eminem and say that because he's white, he can't rap. Silliness in its purest form.

M-Flo is made up of more than one person. Whose voice "grates?"

Verbal doesn't bother me much, but then again, neither does Eminem and a lot of people don't like his voice much. I also like the Beastie Boys, so that might tell you something...

I think that if you really dig into the Japanese hip-hop scene, you'll find people who will fit most tastes AND are good with their rhymes. Heck, Japanese as a language lends itself to clean rhymes.

Rappers sound VERY different! The flow, voice, and inflections they give each word is amazing to me. I'm quite in awe of what they are able to do and convey, given the vocal constraints of the genre! And this comes, BTW, from a person who plays violin, loves Rimsky-Korsakov, and listens to electronic dance music (from house to trance) on CD.

I guess one could also try KM-MARKIT, but he is not as good as M-Flo (at least if he keeps the style he presented on a certain Kato Miliyah video.)
