Whats a place to get some quality tshirts for college?

Not entirely sure what your definition of “cool” is but I like browsing (and occasionally buying from) shirt.woot.com. Threadless.com is a bit more well known in the online t-shirt market, and they’re actually having a sale right now (everything is $10).

thrift stores have good selections.

Generally organic cotton t-shirts tend to have cool designs.
The adidas t-shirts with the 3 pronged logo (not the 3 parallel stripes) have cool designs.

Edit: haha it’s u again. Is that why cool is in parenthesis, I forgot if I mentioned this or not.

Aeropostale maybe? It’s kind of a vague question.

get cool band shirts or shirts from your fraternity/sorority or date party shirts from greek orgs of the opposite gender.
good band shirts are dave matthews band, etc because he’s really popular among college students.
american apparel also has good stuff, especially v necks, if you’re a girl

Oh and please don’t go to Aeropostale. Or Abercrombie Fitch, american eagle, or Hollister on that note.

^ Why not? What makes American Apparel any better than those stores? All American Apparel seems to sell are plain T-shirts in every color, and leggings in every color (including metallic).

I’ve never shopped at Hollister or Abercrombie since for some reason they’re pitch black, smell awful and blare loud obnoxious music. And Aeropostale seems to cater mostly to middle school girls with their tiny shirts with monkeys all over them. But I think American Eagle is ok overall. One time I found a giant bug inside one of the sweater pockets though. Haven’t been back since :/

Anyway don’t bring too many t-shirts to college because you’ll get so many free ones anyhow. I got at least 12 free t-shirts last year for random events.

Hahaha, Dave Matthews Band. Really? They are in no way very popular among the college students I know. Get band shirts of music YOU like not of what other people think is popular.

Anyway, thrift/vintage stores are GREAT. Even Goodwill can be interesting. I like American Apparel too but it can be overpriced and boring. Maybe for basics like solid vnecks. You’ll get a lot of college tshirts in school for sure, so no worry there. Shop where you like and don’t worry about looking “cool.” Really, no one will care what tshirt you’re wearing as long as you’re cool and confident yourself.

[Threadless graphic t-shirt designs; cool & funny t-shirts weekly! Tees designed by the community.](http://www.threadless.com)
http://www.designbyhumans.com/

the problem with american apparel is that the quality is absolutely crap.

You must not be friends with any bros.

@vandycandy

What’s wrong with Aeropostale?

Urban Outfitters has some good quality “different” t-shirts for guys.
We noticed an American Apparel store at a big outlet near us today and looked around the store. The stuff for guys was cheap and really lame. What guy would wear anything from that store?

He said “cool” t shirts. So unless he is going to be a freshman in high school next year American Eagle, Abercrombie, Hollister, and Aeropostale wont cut it.

Kings elite - I associate aeropostale with 12 year olds… and hollister, abercrombie, american eagle with 15 year olds just because i know that would be asked next.

if they want too look “cool” (as i interpret to be mature, stylish, blend in with peers to an extent) theni suggest not looking like a 15 year old. wearing the shirts i suggested is “cool” which is precicely what the op requested.

thanks ukclassof13. glad im not the only one who thinks this :)

TShirtHell has a good selection. Calvin eating Hobbes always seems to make my days a bit brighter, and possibly those of others.

I agree with earthwise, don’t get band shirts because other people like those bands…that just makes you a poser.

Target has really solid shirts for a pretty cheap price. You can get some solid color shirts and some shirts with some logos or designs on them.

I wouldn’t completely disregard abercrombie, just don’t get anything that has a moose or the words ABERCROMBIE on it. Granted this takes away 95% of all the merchandise, you still might be able to find decent stuff like:
[Abercrombie & Fitch > Men > Crews & Henleys > Mountain Pond](http://www.abercrombie.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10051_10901_666092_-1_12231_12202)

Hollister however brands everything they own.

Aside from that, there’s always J.Crew, Gap, and Banana Republic
