Not sure why my DS is getting emails about this year’s application. I thought this is only for juniors.
Did anyone apply this year? I did:) Calvin Coolidge was always among my favorite presidents (my second favorite). Now he may take the top spot. The more I learn the more I love!

I am a current high school senior, am I eligible to apply?
No, only current high school juniors intending to enroll as undergraduates full-time for the first time in fall 2018 are eligible to apply for the 2017 scholarship. No exceptions to this rule can be made.

Bumping this because the 2017 Coolidge Competition deadline just closed. I applied and was wondering if anyone else here did and what are your stats?
I applied like 10 minutes before the deadline (only found out about the scholarship a day before - luckily teachers already had recs written for other programs). Btw does anyone know the approximated decision release date?

I applied! I spent a lot of time on my application and read the autobiography and began reading another Coolidge book that I have continued reading. i admire president Coolidge so much so this one is important to me. Anyone want to share their stats so we can see the average completion?
ok well I applied my stats are:
4.7 GPA
33 ACT
1 out of 516
9 AP classes so far and mostly 5s
I don’t really feel like posting ECs right now tho
My stats are 4.83 GPA
1410 SAT (I will update them with my march score which I think is much better)
3/437 students
6 AP classes enrolled in currently, 4 exams taken previously for classes, all fives with one four.
My extracurriculars and essays are what I excel at and I hope that makes up for my current SAT score.
That SAT is fine.

I had a lot of ECs and my recs were good, but I wish I could update my application with some major achievements. I may Facebook message the Coolidge Foundation.

Decision should come out this week apparently. I’m bummed I couldn’t update them with my act score i just got (first act and a 34) oh well. I hope my application read well even with an average sat score
@studentathlete18 How did you find out that decisions are supposed to come out this week?
I was calling to foundation to see if they could update my ACT score but said decisions should come out very soon. He said sometime this week or next. Last year they came around this time too.
I emailed them about a week ago trying to do the same thing (update) my application, and they told me know. Then, they said decisions would come out soon.
