Hey has anyone heard from Cooper regarding Architecture yet?

According to Cooper Union admissions Facebook page, decisions are mailed out on or around April 1. I cant wait…:)

Will we receive our letters by April 1st? :O

ahhhh im so anxious to get my letter! its going to take a while since im an international student… ahhhh so nervous

yea…im nervous too. but we’ll get it in the first week of April, right? 'cause i have to plan my visit to New York and I’m not sure when we’ll get the letter :/

Yea, I just remember seeing something about first week of April. I’m visiting NY, and I want to know if i need to visit Cooper Union or not.

YES!!! same here! I’m going to visit Syracuse U this week and I want to know if I got in to CU so I can also fly to NYC and visit it too. But so far, still no mail. ):

I don’t think anyone has received an acceptance letter yet, but i think someone received a wait list letter on the facebook page. I don’t know whether this means that waitlist and acceptance letters were sent out togethor, or rejection and waitlist togethor. Or it could be everything separately. Either way, IM NERVOUS

As an international applicant whose friend offered the US adress instead of herself, I couldn’t even see the “Sorry” by person if it was a rejection…NERVOUS too, Cooper Union is my dream school and I really wish to be there several months later. STILL NO MAIL, TOO.:'-(

Question from FB page: Hello, has Cooper mailed out all decisions as of today?

Answer: The Cooper Union Admissions Page The faculty admissions committees have been in deliberations up until today. I see that the architecture first-year applicant decisions will be mailed out today as well as the decisions for art transfer applicants. Architecture transfers may have to wait a few more days. Thanks!

So looks like first-year applicants will be getting results soon. Good luck to all!
I guess the transfer apps were really good this year and they can’t choose.

Soo does this mean i have to wait another week to find out, since i live in sf, ca? Im a first-year student btw not a transfer.
Sent from my LG GW620 using CC App

well if you were accepted then no because acceptances are sent in priority usps shipping

rejected…T^T

@mianahrs- what? do you mean express mail? cause priority shipping from new york to california is pretty much a week (~5 business days).

I still haven’t get the mail…How about you guys?

yea…i found out i got rejected when i came home from visiting NY haha. my letter said it was sent on april 4 so it took 5 business days for me to receive it. are you an international student?

I was a transfer applicant. Rejected. It was a stupid idea to apply anyway. I already have two undgergraduate degrees and I think I have a better chance of getting into a M.Arch program next year than I would ever have even as a freshman at Cooper (which is what I was prepared to do) if I applied until the end of time.

And for future generations, the letters all arrive at the same time (mine took only two days to get to CA).
