Cooper Union Architecture Admissions

Hi, I'm currently a Junior in high school and planning to apply to Cooper!!
Cooper has been my dream school since I was young and I am really interested in this school, esp for its architecture program, but I'm just not so sure if I have any potential of getting in..

My GPA (at the end of Junior yr) would be around 4.7
and My SAT scores are around 2000..
I'm currently taking AP physics, calc, and us history because i thought calc and physics can possibly show my interest in architecture when applying?
and I'm taking AP calc II, stat, econ, bio next yr (since our school doesn't offer AP art history)
Since freshmen yr, I've been taking art courses (honors) every year and I signed up for
Honors Art & Honors Portfolio next yr as well!
but I'm willing to take an online course for AP art history so CU can picture me better as an 'architecture' student.
I'm really all about CU, oh and I'm a U.S. citizen, but I came here in 8th grade!

and I registered for 3 SAT II subject test!
even tho on collegeboard, it says subject tests are not recommended,
it would still help, right?

The school activities that I'm involved in:
Foreign Exchange (3yrs)
Robotics(2yrs)
Amnesty International(2yrs/officer)
Varsity Tennis(manager)

and sadly, I didn't attend any pre-college programs :( which I now know was so necessary)
But I heard the home test is the most important thing that CU considers when accepting/rejecting students.

Do you think (GPA, test scores, or etc -wise) I can possibly, if I try my best for home test, get into CU?

and Please, Please, be honest.. I don't want like 'just try your best' kind of answers!

Thanks,

Hi there, I will be attending Cooper Union for architecture this fall. I can remember being in your position last year, freaking out over grades, extracurriculars, scores - what have you - for admission to this school. These things are important, they want to see that you’re active and an interesting student, but the hometest is really the way they really gauge how well you’ll preform at the school. If you’re still curious, I had a 3.4 UW and 2180 SAT, had decent ECs. I did do a summer program, but I don’t think it’s necessary. SO… to answer your question, yes, you look like a fine applicant disregarding the hometest. Good luck!
