Does anyone know if all accepted Early Decision School of Art applicants were emailed yesterday? I did not receive an acceptance letter nor a rejection letter and was wondering if this means that I still have a chance or (more likely) that they just have yet to send out any of the rejection letters...

My daughter didn’t get anything either. Were they supposed to be sent out via email yesterday?

A quick search on here showed me that apparently they don’t send them all on the same day. You’ll get a notice by the end of feb.

I got my acceptance on the 12th :). Looking forward to life at Cooper!

Oh good, thanks!

Two of the four people I know who applied ED happened to hear back the 11th, so I’m afraid I jumped to conclusions.

(And congratulations on getting in!)

@legorichard1, congratulations!!!

Could you tell me if you got the acceptance via email or regular mail? Thanks… ^^

My friends both received the acceptance via email.

Thank you, selavy!!

Apparently, the order of notification actually matters for Cooper–the later you get something=less likely you get in. Which sucks, because I haven’t heard back yet. Good luck to everyone and congrats on the acceptances!

Really? What’s your source?

@legorichard1 Precedence, current cooper students.

Welp! Got an email today. Looks like I’m deferred! (Must wait until the beginning of April for a final decision.) Stuck in limbo for a little longer…

Best of luck to everyone who is still waiting to hear back!

Just an update to my last post- I got in! I was deferred and then I got in! Hope this helps people in the future to know that this could be your case too! (I was desperately Googling things like “Deferred then accepted to Cooper Union”)

Thanks for the update! I was deferred as well, but haven’t heard back yet, which probably means it isn’t good news…

Hi! How was your experience applying to cooper?
