Coordinated Dual, Joint, And Accelerated Program Candidates

How long are your essays? Because mine is about 3 pages single spaced... and I'm thinking that that's too long. How long are yours?

Mine for LSM was 3 pages single spaced, about 2000 words. Sounds good.

They didn't give a word limit for those programs' essays so I'd assume they want to give you a fair chance to state your mind.

i see. anyone else? i'd like to hear from people who were accepted.

Wow that long... Penn essays are driving me crazy... ugh

um... i applied for huntsman and mine was 3/4 of a page, single spaced, 12 point font. wow, i feel like such a slacker

3 pages seems a little long. These people are reading hundreds of applications. If it were me and I had just finished reading through 10 and I saw a 3 page essay, single-spaced, I would probably be annoyed and just skim it. I think for things like this it pays to be clear and concise. I would consider doing a little editing.

whattttttt???
i called them up and they told me to keep it around 500 words.tat's about 3/4th a page

haha nicenice.

my huntsman essay was also ridiculously short.

I called a while ago, and they told me to keep it under a page. Just because you have 3 pages does not mean that they are quality pages. I originally had a lot, but my essay is so much better now that it is around 450 words. Also remember that they look at it in the context of your entire application, so you do not have to repeat all of your awards and activities if they are not put into a new context.

i have 400 some words. Is that too short? I'm afraid I've condensed it so much that it no longer makes since, but because I knew the background, it still makes sense in my head. i hope this makes sense...

haha i think one page sounds good... i mean thers so many other questions etc.

I was accepted to LSM and my essay was one page single spaced. Good luck guys
