<p>Copy is fine. For example, the common app recommendations are meant to be signed once and photocopied.</p>
<p>If you are worried what an adcom might think, put the recommendation in an envelope and have the teacher sign the flap. That way the adcom will know that the teacher has approved the contents of the letter.</p>
