Core Classes

I was looking to transfer next fall. I go to a private liberal arts school in New England. The school has the core curriculum that encompasses a bunch of different areas like philosophy, human behavior, etc. My current schedule has two core classes (Human Behavior and Literature Philosophy.) I also am taking an intro to criminal justice class (because I’m thinking about majoring in CJ), an American Studies class, and an Art History class (I used to be an arch. major.)
My question is: what would a college like to see when I apply? Would they rather see Core Curriculum classes, or general stuff like a math class? I’m considering switching into a math class because I believe it is required in order to apply to a few of the schools I’m looking to apply to.

Thanks for reading

It depends on the major you are seeking to enter. If it is a STEM field, then taking Math, specifically Calculus is important.

I’m still technically undecided, but I’m leaning towards double majoring in either criminal justice and psychology, or possibly business and visual arts. I don’t believe the credits for the core classes transfer, so I think I’m going to switch into classes that would make more sense
