<p>Were all aware of core curriculums pretty much all colleges/universities have them, but for OOS transfer students they can be a thorn in your side. I was wondering though if anyone knows of colleges waiving them for transfer students, or possibly altering them.</p>
<p>Relatively few schools have strict “core curriculums”, most have general distributional requirements which can be fulfilled using credits transferred from other schools. I don’t know of any schools that change or alter their requirements for transfer students, but there are schools such as Brown and Amherst that have “open” curriculums.</p>
