I can't find anything about a core curriculum or distribution requirements for Arts & Sciences on the cornell website.

IF YOU MEAN THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
This is what it says in the cornell application:

Arts and Sciences

16 units, including 4 of English, 3 of mathematics, 3 of science, and 3 of one foreign language (deficien¬cies should be explained in a letter accompanying the application for admission)

SAT I or ACT

SAT II required in Writing and 2 other subjects

International students: TOEFL

New SAT or the ACT with Writing
SAT Subject Tests required in 2 subjects

International students: TOEFL

No special requirements.
Visits encouraged and information sessions recommended.

i know...i am not much help.

This link should answer your questions. Search for 'distribution requirements' within the page.

everything you could want on arts requirements and programs is here at the official site for arts advising.

you'd be looking under "degree requirements" specifically. The language thing is really confusing, but essentially it says you have to get to a 200 level course in a language to satisfy it.

Thanks guys that's exactly what I was looking for.
