I found a Cornell page titled “Required Coursework” detailing requirements one should complete before considering applying as a transfer student: https://admissions.cals.cornell.edu/apply/transfer/requirements/. Is anyone aware of similar requirements for other schools? It seems likely that they exist; however I have searched around quite a bit on the Georgwtown, Dartmouth, and UPenn websites and can not find anything. All help is greatly appreciated!
Generally speaking you could search for _____ University common core to see the types of courses they tend to take at the first 1-2 years. Some schools have very specific requirements you have to complete. For example UW Seattle requires a very specific list of classes to transfer directly into their business school.
If you’re worried that there are some required courses you’re missing, I’d recommend emailing the transfer or UG admissions advisors to ask about “pre-admittance” requirements.
If they do not have a specific web page for that, you can look up the general education requirements for the school or division and the lower level course requirements for your intended major to see what they are likely to expect.
