Core question

If S takes Micro & MacroEcon they satisfy the SB requirement. But if he has a minor in business those 2 classes are required. Is that double counting? Does he then need to take 2 other SB classes?

No, the Econ 110 & 111 can be used to satisfy both requirements. His ST 260 class will also satisfy one of his computer requirements.

The rule against “double counting” has to do with double counting within CORE. You can count a course against Core and against a major or minor.

That makes sense. Now I read he doesn’t need macro for a business minor just micro, which surprises me. Maybe he will stick with Soc 101. I was telling him he didn’t need it.

Would also like to know why Eng 311 Special Topics in Literature is not an L. Maybe only 200 level?
