Does anyone know what the yield rate is for the class of 2014? or the projected yield? I have been looking all over since May 1st but cannot find anything. Thanks.

Cornell admitted about 6,700 applicants for a class of 3,150-3,200, so the yield rate would be about 48%.

Thanks. however, isn’t that the expected yield? The matriculation can be higher or lower correct?

class size is more like 3050 to 3150. There is no way 3200 students can fit on north campus.

3,150 is their target. Last year (Class of '13), there were 3,221 freshmen, which was over-target. So yes, they can fit on North Campus.

Considering there are over 3600 beds on North Campus, there is definitely a way.
