Cornell 2015 ED Hopefuls

That’s the one!

ceresma

You are not applying ED 2015?

Anyway, good to have this discussion to clear things up for everyone.

Do not worry if u take SAT on November

I already applied ED to CALS. My comment was to sugest that if someone is applying RD complete SAT testing in Dec. My SAT’s are done

Oh okay

Not necessarily true. Applicants can still submit January scores if they are applying RD Cornell.

This is true for a lot of of applicants I know who applied last year.

Has everyone already received their notification for missing materials? I know they should still be missing my SAT II from November, but I think that is it and I haven’t received any emails from them… Would they notify me about that even though they will review the application anyway?

^Bear93 Probably not because they will review your application regardless of whether or not they have your SAT IIs.

Ohh ok thanks! And does anyone know when they tell us when the decisions will be announced? (not the actual decisions haha, just when they tell us when they will be released)

I will actually suck cow utter to get into CALS right now.

^same

does anyone know if its possible for me to send my grades from some classes I took at NYBG? Before you say its late, let me just say that I don’t even have them yet and I’m expecting them to arrive at my house tomorrow, just cause they’re slow like that. It’s kinda important since I’m applying to become a plant science major. The other thing is that since they don’t guarantee getting extra materials sent back to you, I would be extremely hesitant to send the actual report and would want to send a copy of it. I know that’s not technically official but I mean the classes were technically for 18 year olds or older (don’t ask me how I took them) so they really don’t send these things to colleges so i assume I would have to do it myself. Help!!!

You should request NYBG to send a copy to Cornell directly, so it’s more official. It might be a little weird if you make a photocopy of it and you send it to Cornell. I would think that they want to have official documents, for validity reasons.

I will eat a dead rotting pigeon raw to get into the College of Computer Science.

Next next next Thursday…

Aniruddhc, krmh11, and dontfeedsparky

You guys are pathetic. It is just a school. And also there is no college of computer science. Computer science is in both College of Arts and Sciences and College of Engineering. Actually know stuff about the school that you would eat dead rotting pigeon raw to get into.

next next next thursday lol drelnis
sigh

I can finally confirm that decisions will be made available online December 9th at 5pm! (I asked admissions). Hope this helps.

We’ve only known that for a few days now :P

“Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review.”

AHHHH. It’s so scary to know that they may be reading it this second. I can’t wait to find out their decision D:

Check out my “chance me” thread if you get the chance :)

oh oops sorry i guess i missed it :)

20 days 23 hours 40 minutes 30 seconds
until i get my rejection letter!<3
