Cornell 2015 ED Hopefuls

^^^^^^^^^^^
I’d like to know as well, CANNOT wait xD

I remember a CC user mentioning that December 1st they would tell us. Since Cornell updates its website at about 5PM eastern time, that’s when we should expect an email. Just a guess!

I searched last years threads and it looks like we get the email with the pin 2 days before the decision is released so I would guess the 7th

Around what time should we make this year’s official ED decisions thread?

I think I would wait until the 9th. Until then this works

I’d say let’s receive the log in IDs first then make the ED result thread, but only have results posts in it not cluttered like some other uni’s ED result threads with half a dozen pages of pending discussion lol

mickjagger,

Mom here. My son had his information session a couple of days ago. He described his interview similar to yours. A few college specific topics and then just casual conversation about everyday matters.

We should make it before the 9th. I would like to have that torrent of anxious posts in the hour before the decision is released like last year. :P

smileygerl - Yeah, it was pretty much like an interview. I even felt like the casual conversation in the second half of the interview was a test to see if I was sociable and wasn’t some sort of outcast with weird interests.

8 days 2 hours and 7 minutes!!! this is so exciting. does anybody know if human ecology reviews applicants by major? If so, is human development a competitive major?

hey everyone i am just joining this thread. i applied ED to human ecology

when do the results come out? some have said the 15th, others have said as early as the 9th!

whats do decisions truly come out?

^noob…

If you read the posts, then you will know that it is Dec 9th.

thanks for the info considering i don’t really have time to read 37 pages of posts. we all are seniors in high school, so i’m sure you understand.

lol don’t call him a noob let’s be mature… and nice to each other… oh god I’m already growing into a boring adult =(

thanks! you’re becoming nothing of the sort, not to worry!

delete that post - don’t tell so much.

Is it a positive sign if cornell contacts my son’s guidance counselor for first quarter grades?

On a similar note, is it a positive sign if Cornell contacted me to send in missing documents for financial aid? I know the admissions and financial aid are different offices, but would they take the time to go through all the financial aid packages?

What do you mean by documentssssss? I thought all we had to hand in was the CSS profile

I had my alumni informational session this evening. It went very well with a few questions from him about my interests, school activities, major, etc. It lasted about an hour.
