So I see some people saying they were rejected. Does that mean that some of the colleges actually reject outright? I was “postponed” from the Hotel School, which I know isn’t good, but I’m still wondering if some people are saying “rejected” when they were actually “postponed.”

I m feelin js so ecstatic!!! Accepted- College of Engineering
But what is stifling my excitement is the anxiousness about the financial aid package that I am going to receive. Since I am from South Asia, it will take at least 12 more days for the official decision letter, which has been sent to me via postal mail, to reach me. Will they not be informing me of my aid package via e-mail very soon?? I js cant afford to wait that long!

Plsss help!!

“Does that mean that some of the colleges actually reject outright?”

At the CAS info session we attended this summer, the adcom said that they generally do not defer, because if they are not reaching for the “accept” button in the ED pool there is essentially no way you would get there in RD.
