Cals aem ed

ahhh i dont know if i should do ILR or CAS… they’re both such amazing programs. and when i visited this weekend, i regretted so hard that i didn’t apply ED… ■■■

I replied ED to cornell but… I didn’t know that we had to give in our tax returns with the application. They told me that it was complete though… Did i just ruin my chances of getting accepted?

^ohirene: this is the RD thread, there is a separate ED thread. Also, the financial aid office is completely separate from the admissions office and you don’t send in anything apart from your CSS profile until February

Can we get this thread going again! With just about a month left until results are released, it’s getting unbearable, and it would be comforting to talk to others! It could be less than a month for a select few who are lucky enough to be admitted through rolling decisions (CALS, Hotel, ILR)…

ahhhhhhhhhhh 32 days

I agree! I’m at the really panicky nervous stage. It’d be good to talk to others haha. Hows everyone doing?

march is going to be the longest month of my life!

LOL agreed!!! I don’t know how I am going to survive this month. Now that I know there is the SLIGHTEST possibility for this rolling decision, I’m dying to hear back soon. I anxiously check the threads and my mail everyday. Repeatedly look at the old rolling decision announcements to see when it’s most probable that we could hear back. ASL;KDJFSDLJF this is not good. Patience must really be a virtue.

ha Definitely! My laptops main use has been trying to figure out the exact day to expect a decision. I applied to CALS so I’m reallllylylyy hoping ot get mine on the first round of rolling decisions.

What is this news about rolling decisions?

@imi1928: Glad to see I’m not the only one! It’s ridiculous. I’m hoping it comes within the week. Although today would be optimal.

@Napster: If you applied to the CALS/ILR/Hotel school there is a possibility you could hear back by late February/early March via a letter in the mail. It is only done for a small number of applicants, so not receiving one doesn’t equate to a rejection. There doesn’t seem to be a pattern in who they accept through this method, as I have noticed that it is not always the BEST applicants who are accepted through this option. It does give us hope that we will know earlier, but definitely not peace of mind as we will continually stress till March 30th to see if we received a rolling letter.

Thanks, MJG! Sounds kind of like a likely letter, but not just for the top percent of applicants… hmm. Well now I’m anxious!! Guess I’ll be checking the mail starting today haha…

@ MJG Yes! Haha I’d probabaly faint if it came today. Lets hope for sometime this week if not today.
I think I’ll go check the mail…
