I’ve heard that the class of 2014 was the largest, but I don’t know how credible the claim is.

Does it really make that much of a difference in admissions? Not that I’m afraid something as insubstantial as population will jeopardize my chances, I’m just curious.

^ Any difference in admissions is insignificant.

^ Yes, I agree.

I’m not exactly sure what to make of that statement.

^ My statement?

No, Jersey’s.

Has anybody here read the Freshman Application Information that Cornell supplies for undergraduate admission? Good knowledge to have…

Cornell hopefuls,

What were your high school stats? (SAT score, avg GPA, extracurriculars, etc)

Here’s general Cornell info:
Cornell SAT Averages: (710 CR) + (740 M) = 1450 / 1600*
*They do not look at writing it all.
Class Rank/GPA: Should take very rigorous curriculum, be in top 5% (at very competitive high schools/prep schools top 10% or even lower than top 10% could be acceptable)–the higher up you are, the better.
EC’s: Show passion in something / be an active member of your local/high school community

There is obviously a ton more information, this is just a sample.

Here are more specific “stats” for each college at Cornell:

^Wow that was very helpful. Thanks!

hey everyone, a Canadian here gonna apply to Cornell. I was gonna apply ED, but Cornell’s new policy on FA for us Canadians robs of a lot of aid, so ED is far too risky.

RD for me…pych. or bio major. What college is this… CAS?

^ Yes, for both.

[Majors in the college of arts and sciences](http://as.cornell.edu/academics/major-minor/majors.cfm)

Good luck you guys!!!

Good luck to you too. Less than 5 months until application submission for ED applicants and roughly 7 months for RD applicants.

185 days and 17 hours until ED notification.

It’s too early for countdowns!

^Are you applying, Silverturtle?

will prob apply ED for CALS despite the <2% chance of acceptance. wish me luck >.>
