Cornell 2015 Hopefuls

Most likely ED to Engineering. Good luck everyone.

I’m currently leaning toward Yale although I have legacy status at Stanford.

^ Oh, I had forgotten. That makes it a difficult decision indeed.

Jersey, go with Stanford. You’ll either get accepted or rejected by the schools (there’s nothing else that can happen, ultimately). However, you do have a “leg up”, so to speak, at Stanford; whereas at Yale, you have no such boost. Good luck.

ED Human Ecology Biology and Society =)

^^ We’ll see Lobzz, I’ve got plenty of time to decide lol.

I’ll probably be applying RD to Engineering

Do any current Cornell students know whether recruitment for BB banks is better for AEM CALS kids versus Economics in CAS kids?

^Cornell is a semi-target. I don’t think it would make a difference which specific department you were in. My impression is that the difference between AEM and CAS-Econ is negligible (unlike that of Wharton and Penn-CAS, for instance). I would still recommend that you ask someone who is a bit more knowledgeable; my opinion would only be supported by anecdotal evidence.

What are CALS stats, for kids who apply. I have a low gpa but high SATs…and by low gpa i mean like 88%

I’m applying to CAS

GPA: 3.7 SAT: 2040 (CR: 710 M:670 W:660)

Ed cas

gpa 3.8 sat 2300

I heard that teenagers in Ithaca carry shotguns around to go hunting.

lol really? you’re joking right haha

Haha no, Ithaca actually is pretty rural.

Awesome -___-

ED CALS :open_mouth: hopefully i’ll get in!

Taking this thread out of obscurity.

Either CAS or CALS :)

applying RD to the hotel school!!!
do they look more at scores or passion and work experience??
