I’ve decided to apply ED for to get into the College of Engineering :)

Applying RD, probably to CAS or CALS. Anyone know which specific college is best for a major in biological sciences?

what are your stats? i’m wondering what type of student wants to get into Cornell ED.

Applying ED to CALS for AEM.

Double Legacy, possible recruited athlete, 3.98 GPA, 1470 CR + M

RD CAS Economics.

Both your parents? Cause if it was one parent and one grandparent, I’d call it Legacy Squared.

I would be the third generation. My grandfather and great-grandfather attended. So, whatever you would prefer to call that is fine with me. haha

gahhh…

ED to CAS, probably government

anyone else thinking about doing a dual degree? if everything works out i think im going to go for government + electrical engineering

^^^ my instinct tells me that you can’t double major across different colleges.

Edit: http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/student-services/academic-advising/engineering-handbook/2009/special-programs.cfm

Huh… did not know that at all. Guess I was wrong lol

^ thats what I thought at first, but there is a 5 year dual degree program that allows one to do so (at least that is what it says on the website).

[Dual Degree](http://as.cornell.edu/academics/opportunities/dual-degree/)

I’m going to go hunting for more info when i visit in a week or two.

RD to CAS (:

ED to CAS; Triple Legacy (3rd generation) (mom went to CAS; Dad went to Engineering; Grandpa went to Cornell Law); 3.95 GPA (Top 5%); 33 ACT…will take SAT in October, but I doubt it would matter.

I am torn between ED at Cornell (CALS) and ED at Dartmouth. I took the pre-vet summer college at Cornell and loved it! My short stats GPA 4.16W 3.9+ unweighted, Class Rank top 10 (not percent) out of about 550, 2250 (800M 710CR 740W) SAT SAT2’s Bio M 740 & Math 700 (I dont know what happen on the math?? I think I will retake in Oct or Nov). The SAT stats for Cornell seem to be 1600 based do they look at the Writing? I think ED willl give me a better shot.

ED to CoE. Probably a mechanical engineering major with an aerospace/env. eng. minor.

@ Ceresma, you have a great shot either ED or RD.

Ivysaur Thanks!

Doing RD, probably going to apply to CAS for Econ, though I’m thinking about AEM. Still not sure if I’m going to apply, but who knows.

RD to CAS. However, my SAT score is unsatisfactory, so I will be retaking it in October to improve my CR and W into the 700s.

^^ I’m deciding between CALS AEM and CAS Econ as well. Leaning toward AEM at the moment.

I am New York state resident and my daughter is trying to decide between two colleges: Arts & Sciences and Agriculture & Life Sciences. She will major in Biology. Which one is easier to get in through ED?

Her SAT scores: Math, 740; Reading, 700; Writing, 760

Thanks
