<p>Where do you think Cornell will be in the future? Do you think its on the path of rapid progress?</p>
<p>I think I can confidently predict that the rust will still be dripping off Uris Hall in 2020, and there still won't be adequate parking on campus.</p>
<p>As for the more important issues, I think that the university needs to settle down under its new president and decide what its goals should be. You can't get anywhere until you know where you're trying to go. With all the changes in the Cornell presidency in the past few years, the university may have lost its focus a bit. But this is a temporary problem.</p>
<p>Cornell sends MANY people out into the world every year, so I think that it will get more and more influence as time passes!</p>
