Cornell A&S Fall Xfer Decisions?

Hey guys,

Does anyone know when A&S decisions for fall transfer start to be released? I've heard everything from end of April to May and June but no definitive answers. Also, is it by snail mail, email or a phone call?

Thanks

From the transfer FAQs
When should I expect to hear the decision on my application, and how will I be informed?

Decisions for transfer applicants are made on a rolling basis. We begin communicating decisions approximately 4 weeks after the deadline and continuing communicating them for an additional 6 weeks. Please note that many decisions are delayed because the application was not complete by the deadline. Applicants will receive an admissions decision letter by regular mail.

Wow, thanks a lot.

When you say “many decisions are delayed because the application was not complete by the deadline,” do you mean that everyone is impacted, or simply those who didn’t complete their application on time?

I took that directly from Cornell’s website, but I would assume it means that if you don’t complete your app on time then you, personally, will receive a delayed decision

Can you link me to where you found that?

Don’t have an ID yet. Have you already submitted your app?

Ah, sorry about that. I didn’t realize you had to be logged in to view the list of FAQs. Yeah, I have submitted it.

Ooh ok, I thought you had to wait until Feb 1 to file apps. What school are you applying to?

Arts and Sciences

Anyone got stats on CALS? It’s more bio-oriented than CAS is.
