Cornell AAP vibes/stereotypes?

I’m going to AAP for Planning and I was wondering what the AAP vibe is like, or if there are any stereotypes.

Thank you!! <3

If you are already going, I assume that you have done research and probably visited the campus, No? What do you think it is like and what was the vibe and stereotypes you’d like to see discussed here?

@lostaccount
I live overseas so I never got to see the campus :frowning: by “vibe” I mean are they hippie-ish/artsy/snobby/friendly? I completely understand that the diversity is so large that there are many different kinds of people, but i was just wondering if there’s a specific “vibe” of the students

The three majors in AAP (art, architecture, planning) are very distinct and the students do not interact much. Planning students are unique because their curriculum is not studio-based. I can’t really speak to vibes among planning students, as I’m an architecture major and don’t really know many! AAP is more diverse than Cornell as a whole- there is a higher percentage of international and minority students- and has a more cosmopolitan feel than other colleges.
