Does anyone know if cornell superscores the act?

Yes, they do :)

Incorrect, they Superscore the SAT but not the ACT. From the admissions blog. Q & A regarding ACT is near the bottom. [Standardized Tests ?
My bad! Thanks for correcting me on that @csdad. Sorry to mis-inform @Floppybunny. I really thought they did.

This came from a post last year dated 9-27-2012, from a student who emailed admissions

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/cornell-university/1395476-does-cornell-take-act-sat-superscore-help.html

“Thank you for your interest in Cornell University. In reviewing applications, Cornell admissions selection committees use your highest sub scores for the SAT/ACT and SAT Subject Tests, regardless of how many times you have taken the exam or whether your highest scores come from SAT/ACT exams completed on different dates. Cornell does not participate in score choice-we require all scores be sent to us. We will create the best possible scenario out of your individual scores for consideration for admission.”

Thanks everyone for the clarification. I also had another question though. Would anyone know what the limit and minimum word count is for the supplement essays? Thanks in advance!
