Hey guys. I applied ED to Cornell AEM at CALS. My SAT is the only thing that i feel is holding me back. My GPA is a 4.0/4.0, and i have very good ECs and Essays. My SAT score, however, is a 1980, which is horrible for me. I just wanted to know from AEM students/applicants if this will definitely cause me to get denied.

post it in the Cornell sub forum if you want more feedback/talk with from other ED applicant

I am not very familiar with AEM but two of my friends got in last year. Their GPA isn’t as higher as yours (They had around 3.7-3.8) and they both scored 2000+ on their SAT (2000-2100). Hope thats help.

Fit is everything at AEM. If you can show them your passion for business, they might overlook your SAT scores.
