Cornell AEM moves from #10 to #4 in undergrad Businessweek rankings!!!

We are on the come up guysss!!! Cornell just sent an email out to all AEM students...but the ranking has not been officially released yet...but it will be soon!!

I heard about this as well. AEM was even ranked ahead of NYU Stern. I know we all like to say that rankings don't matter much, but nevertheless, this is great for AEM. :)

Wow. VERY impressive considering how long the AEM program has been around. #10 to #4 in one year is a huge jump...

lol and now the competition increases

Ha I am definitely applying for that program, as an international unfortunately.

Cornell is listed as Private this year. :p

I can't believe Cornell jumped by so much!

where are the new rankings??

Nice. Now it seems that I've applied to 3 of the top 4 ugrad business schools.

here are the rankings (top 50): http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/467391-2008-undergrad-businessweek-rankings.html

i'm not so sure about those rankings. seems like theyre trying to defy a certain norm more than anything else. Yeah, AEM is a great major and its growing fast, but as of yet I definitely wouldn't put it above Haas, stern, ross, sloan, etc. and BYU? Seriously? big meh on that one. I could be wrong, but I'd really like to know on what grounds theyre basing this.

I find AEM's SAT score surprisingly low. 1336 mean SAT score. I thought it would be in the 1400's.

berk should be top 5...these rankings are clearly bs---someone def paid under the table

i hope i get into the AEM major..if it means anything, my SAT I is 1550/1600. lol....

780 Math/760 CR (pretty balanced scores i think?)

all business undergrads recruit heavily on atheletes.
thats why the mean SATs are somewhat lower than expected.

relation between business and athletics? ive never heard that before.

these rankings are highly skewed, there is NO WAY schools like Stern, MIT, Ross etc can be ranked below Emory or Notre Dame

wow that's really good that cornell moved up

unless you're already a student there, it's not good...

more popularity-->more applications-->less chance of getting in

it already has a 14% acceptance rate.. impossible to get in now. much harder than ross, stern, berkeley even.
