Where can I find statistics on entering freshman to Cornell AEM (their undergrad business program)?

SAT averages, GPA averages, acceptance rates, anything else, etc...

I have heard their acceptance rate is like 10% but I can't find the source. And I'm looking for the other info as well. Thanks

Any ideas? Cornell AEM is one of the top undergraduate business programs in the country. Surely we have some data, or rumors of data, on the class profile and such…

There is a giraffe problem at Cornell right now. People are busy

…maybe you’d like to do some research on the AEM website first before you ask questions like these?

There is no such information on the AEM website. I’m asking what statistics AEM admits typically have, based on common knowledge.

As a note, I spent considerable time researching before I asked the above question.

Are all Cornell students so unfriendly?

I typed in “AEM Cornell Entering Class Profile” and first link that came up:

[Applied Economics and Management/Cornell](<a href=“http://aem.cornell.edu/undergrad/index.htm]Applied ”>http://aem.cornell.edu/undergrad/index.htm )

If you do a search for “AEM Cornell SAT” you will find plenty of references to AEM’s average SAT score.

I’m not sure where you did your research but I suggest using the internet next time. It can be pretty useful :)

Ah! Well thanks for the link, it’s helpful and it shows acceptance rate and some other stuff numbers about class size.

Also, I found someone mentioning the average AEM SAT score to be 1340… ([link](<a href=“http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/undergrad-nyu-stern-or-cornell-aem-i-got-an-extension"]link[/URL] ”>http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/undergrad-nyu-stern-or-cornell-aem-i-got-an-extension )).

Anyone want to confirm? 1340 seems rather low…

That’s weird…I could have sworn I heard AEM’s average SAT was like 1490…

this was included in an email that entering AEM freshmen and transfer students got this year:

“10. Say hello to AEM’s 78 new freshmen and 83 new transfer students.
Our new frosh come from 19 states, Canada, Mexico, India, and China, their admittance rate was 11%, and their median SAT score was 1475 (out of 1600).”
