Cornell AP Credit Policy

In AEM I am wondering how credit for AP will work for AP Lit. and Lang., also for Calc AB.

<a href="http://business.aem.cornell.edu/academics/ap.htm%5B/url%5D">http://business.aem.cornell.edu/academics/ap.htm</a></p>

"Note: We award 3 credits and placement out of one semester of the First-Year Writing Seminar for a score of 4 or 5 on the English literature and composition AP exam; we award the same for the English language and composition AP exam."

I got a 5 on the first Eng., should I take the 2nd one? I don't understand if I can double up on this credit for passing the second. The aem office was no help, they said "Oh, talk to your counselor when you attend".

I need to figure out if I want to study or how much.

Also what happens with math at AEM?

Thanks

Since you're in AEM, that means you will be in the Ag school, right? If that's true, then take the second AP. I know the Ag school will use both, but the Arts and Sci won't. Math I'm not too sure, but almost every school except Engineering takes all your math credits.

I thought CALS doesn't take both. I think I read that at CALS you can only place out of one seminar. The only difference in this area between CALS and CAS is that at CALS you can do so with a 4 or a 5 but at CAS only with a 5.
