***Weird fact: I forfeited a GT for another college because I discovered a passion for History of Art. Thank god I got into CAS!

so I talked to Ian from ILR yesterday and he told me he could not disclose the decision over the phone since it wasn't official yet, but that he would call me back today or tomorrow...twisted much?! I'm just hoping they dont reject people over the phone that would be SO depressing...

Just got off the phone with ILR Admissions. Decisions are made through committees which are made up of faculty who read our applications. There was a committee meeting held earlier in the month. As a result, some of us have heard back. The next meeting will be held later [in the month,] and so the next batch of decisions will be made then.

Got my rejection notification on the check app status this morning...
....
shrug oh well, I didn't put too much hope in it at the beginning, and this is somehow what I'd expected. Good luck to you all!! 98% I'll be a Moho this Fall :)

Just post it in case some of you are nervous:
International Transfer, ask for LOTS of fin aid ( prolly this can be part of the reason)
Apply for CAS Mathematics major
App submitted on Mar 29th.
Current CCC student.

You maybe right. They do turn down qualified International Transfers if enough money isn't shown. Blind admission applies only to citizens and permanent residents. There is only one or two private schools that pledges to extend the blind admission process to international students.

Sorry about the rejection though. I wish you best of the luck at other places you have applied.

thanks bitterlemon I can't wait for both of us to be at the big red! Jay1020 i had a decent HS GPA 3.5ish, and then i didnt do so well my first semester of college, but had some great ECs, a great midterm report, and wrote great essays.

OMG this is killing me!
my app status changed to "forwarded for review" about 3 weeks ago and i still havent heard back. is it safe to say im rejected?
