Cornell/Brown, chance?

Any chance at Cornell or Brown with these stats? Any other suggestions for "reach" colleges that I might have a shot at? I'm currently a rising junior, applying to Engineering and Pre-med.

GPA: 4.09/4.33 (Unweighted)
Rank: 5/~240
SAT: 800w, 760m, 650cr (hopefully should be able to get 800w, 800m, 700+cr)
yet to take PSAT
I took SAT subj. World History - 590 (not sending that or retaking). Planning on taking Math 1, Math 2, Chemistry, US History subject tests though.

AP classes:
10- World History (5)
11- Chemistry, US History, American Literature
12- (most likely)- Calculus BC, Physics, Biology, British Literature
For 10/11 I'm taking/took an Engineering course, which I assume helps.
US History and Biology count for UConn credit too.

EC's
Media Productions Club (shut down after 1 year), Crew (1 year), Math Team (4 years in total), Sailing (3 years in total), Engineering Club (2 years in total), National Honor Society (includes tutoring in Math/Sciences ~30 hours in total), Spanish Honor Society

Volunteer work
Volunteer at hospital in summers (~120 hours in total)
Assist teaching classes for elementary/middle school -ers (examples of classes: photoshop skills, designing your own video game, etc.). (Approximately 50 hours in total for volunteering, I hope to get paid next year- good choice? If not, it's still volunteering)

Awards
National Spanish Exam- Bronze (9); Honorable recognition (10)
9- 1st place JV Math Team from our league; 3rd best place scorer from our State's league
10- 1st place JV Math team out of our State's league
11/12 - yet to come

I plan on preparing for AMC/AIME and possibly Chemistry Olympiad

Anything I should possibly add to this list?

I would set your sights a little lower. Perhaps, University of Phoenix? jk

that’s a reach. haha.

bumpbumpbump

I would try and add more leadership positions to the list. At least two or three.

I would also try and raise the CR score, but otherwise it’s a very good SAT score.

I don’t think Vanderbilt, Emory, or Rice would be too far out of your reach,
though that doesn’t change the fact they will still be hard to get into.

And if you’re feeling really lucky, you could always try Northwestern or Wash U in St. Louis.

Thanx!
I’m trying to find a school with a decently competitive sailing team particularly, why I suggested Brown and Cornell. Those are a slight step up from Vanderbilt/Rice/Emory, but do you think I have a decent shot there too? Thanx!
Do you think AMC/AIME and Chem. Olympiad would help?

Not a shot at those two schools.

any suggestions to make them a possibility?

They might show passion and interest in the areas, but short of exceptional scores, I don’t think they’d have a great effect. Even as a two-time USAMO qualifier, I don’t think my math competition scores had much of an effect on my admissions results.
