Apply to Columbia.

why columbia??

"I also took a economics and finance class at Columbia University and I have a fantastic recommendation from the Professor."

milk that, dude.

Ditto Columbia -- milk it like gregunit said -- and apply Early -- and make sure your essay is really unique and distinctive, describing your passion.

Yeah, but I dont want to go to Columbia. I want to go to a school that has a business school, such as Cornell.

oh...well try AEM, you have really good chances with all of your business stuff, and that should set up for some good i-banking chances if you do really well. Just boost up your SAT II scores, and get some more volunteer hours. The more well-rounded you are the more safer you are.

Why would you tell him to go to Columbia? Sure, his experience and rec helps most with Columbia, but it does help a bit anywhere, and he should apply where he wants to go.

Apply to AEM, early decision if Cornell is your first choice. It's a fantastic program.
