Cornell Business major

Hey,

So apparently cornell doesn't have an actual 'business' major, yet they have hotel administration and what not. (undergrads)

according to the newsweek magazine, cornell has a lot of taking business classes as majors...

i'm confused.

is that for hotell business or does cornell do have business major classes?

Cornell has an undergraduate business school: AEM (Applied Econ and Management). That is your business "major." Hotel is a much more specialized form of business.

Search AEM (Applied Economics & Management) on the Cornell board. It is Cornell's accredited undergraduate business program housed in the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences. There are other ways to study "business" at Cornell, including the Hotel School, but if you want an accredited (AACSB) business degree, you have to attend AEM. Here's one thread:

Applied Economics and Management is the fancy Ivy League term for business. Its a great program, I myself am an AEM major. It was just ranked in the top 10 for undergrad business programs.
