I'm a high school sophomore so it's probably difficult to chance me but I'm curious how I stack up and would love some advice that would help increase my odds of getting in! I'm a half white, half asian girl from Massachusetts. I'm on a pre-veterinary track so I'd be applying for the Animal Science major at CALS.

My GPA is 4.19 weighted, and 3.85 unweighted. I took the PSAT and got a 174 (I didn't prep for it at all and started taking geometry this year, plus at my school we do vocab during 3rd trimester so I had no idea what I was doing haha).
I'm in all honors classes and one AP. Sophomores can only take Euro here, but junior year I'm taking AP Bio, English Language and US History, and I think senior year I'm taking Lit, Calc AB, Studio Art, German and Physics C. So my classes and grades are decent but nothing too special or out of the ordinary.

I suppose my "hook" is my ECs since they're for the most part relevant to my intended major and from what I've heard, this is what Cornell looks for. I feel like I'm not doing enough but my schedule is filled and I'm not sure I can fit anything else, and even if I did, I don't know what would look good/increase my chances of getting into CALS.

Horseback riding (12+ years, English, some informal showing but nothing serious because I'm not in the US during my stable's show season)

Volunteering at local animal shelter (2 months, in charge of decorating dog kennels/main artist, roughly 20 hours but I've done fundraising/food drives with them too)

Summertime internship at a veterinary hospital in Japan (>100 hours, 2 months, I helped with surgeries, vaccinations, office work and basic stuff like cleaning cages)

HS art club member (2 years, there is no official leader but I am the only active member, all we do is make art and talk lol)

Indoor track (2 years, JV, nothing too impressive but was on the better end of JV)

HS pre-veterinary club founder/president (4 months, I plan everything, we do fundraisers, bake sales, food drives, dissection and anatomy labs, go on field trips etc.)

Art (pretty much for as long as I can remember, I have regional recognition/awards for my work and have published artwork and poetry multiple times)

Summertime kennel hand at a pet shop in Japan (2 months, cleaning cages/feeding puppies/socializing and training them)

Piano (5 years on/off, I'm decent but it's not really impressive)

Dog training (8+ years, agility and obedience, informal but working towards titling my own dogs in the next few months)

I have applied for vet camp at Tufts and the recommendations + essay for that were solid and I was a well above-average applicant. I don't find out admission decisions until next month but I'm feeling pretty confident about it.

Also I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I have been in the local news for my achievements. One article was an interview and focused on me/my veterinary "journey" thus far, and another was on a fundraiser my Pre-Vet club had to help financially disadvantaged pet owners.

TL;DR: If I keep up what I'm doing (and actually study for the PSAT/SAT/ACT lol) do I have a good chance at CALS? What else should I do/what should be done differently to help increase my chances and/or better prepare me for Cornell and onward?
