I noticed that at the college of agriculture and life sciences the standardized test scores seemed to be lower than i expected. According to the SUNY website the SAT ranges are reported as 1240-1440 and ACT ranges as 28-32. My question is just how much easier is admission into the CALS than other colleges at a Cornell?

Be aware, however, that the different schools within Cornell weigh things differently-with experiences related to their mission weighing more heavily. Everyone even considering Cornell has thought-oh, well I’ll just apply to the one that is easiest to get into and then transfer. Yeah, that would create chaos. But anyway, just because the scores are lower for one school does not necessarily make it “easier” to get in. High scores may be weighed as less important then other factors.
