I always hated when nobody replied to my stuff. Your interests are similar to mine as are your general fields so I can give a pretty good idea for this.

Research = very good, however I could use some more info.
Is it original research? or just repeating previously done experiments. have you entered into any research competitions such as the intel fairs, JSHS, or Siemens and Westinghouse? did you work in a lab or was it independent? has any of your research ever been published in a journal or report?
I do a lot of research so I know what they look at from asking around. Make sure to have an abstract prepared for any and all research you’ve done so that you can send it as a supplemental form for academics if they allow.

Honor roll isn’t really worth much as it’s very subjective. I’m assuming your UW GPA is out of 4 not 5.

Your sports are very impressive. If your school’s varsity teams won anything else that you haven’t listed can you please list it. Also, list what state you’re in, as it can have an impact.

With your AP Calc, are you in BC or AB calc? Also, does your school allow APs before junior year? because that’s a factor as well. And it is AP Physics B or C that you’re in?

Volunteering is good. NHS is good. You might want another club other than Academic Regional Team, especially if your sports teams haven’t done much.

Immigrant = good

I think you have a decent shot at CMU, but I can’t do a full evaluation without some more information (what I asked above). Depending on the answers your chances for CMU could go up or down, and I can’t evaluate Cornell without. Especially since you’re engineering.

chance me back?
