I read your GPA, rank, sat your predicted scores, and a long list of ECs. I didn't bother reading them, because I saw you don't know ANY test scores. Out advice is worthless until we know those.

How is it looking so far?

you're fine so far, but information you can't provide (in this case scores) prevents any full analysis of your chances.

Don't worry you're not too rediculous, we've had rising HS freshmen appear here saying "I play to have a 4.0 GPA and mid 700s on all my tests. I plan to have lot's of ECs and community service, and I plan to win national awards. What are my chances?" :)

lol haha thats pretty bad...I'm going into my junior year already so...I guess it's time to start thinking about this sort of stuff

You know, this kid's thread is just one like so many which really make me wonder what the hell is going on with admissions. I mean, they have all these insane extracurriculars (well, not so much this kid but others), things that I couldnt even imagine doing in high school, and they still think they have no chance of getting in. You know what my ec's were? Eagle scout, science fair, teen court, and some little piddly crap. No working on a nuclear submarine or in a research lab at Johns Hopkins. I mean, has it really gotten that competitive in the last TWO whole years? Or are these super-crazy kids just so cooped up with others like them that they don't know what normal people are like? I'd really like to know, simply because i've seen so many kids that are so far above anything I ever did in high school who seem to think they don't have a shot....

hehe perro, you Cornell slacker :D . This place probably isn't representative of most college applicants (or is it?).

no it's not...this place is full of the kids who have great chances, or great focus, or great drive, or great aspirations. Your average applicant doesn't take enough initiative to worry about finding stuff like this out on CC.

please if you could chance me for cornell early decision
