Cornell Chances

ooh, all my ecs began freshman year, i just listed the leadership positions i ended up getting jr and senior year. so for interact club, i started fresh year, got district officer position soph year, treasurer jr. year, and vp senior year. as with all the rest, like mun, i was in the club frsh, soph, jr year, but only listed that i became secr senior year. on my common app i did list how they all began fresh year though  thanks jenn! i did have an internship with a cardiologist 11th grade, but there havent been too many other strong opportunities at my school. also i do want to premed, but am not 100% positive so i havent really aimed my entire path toward it. and i didnt have time to retake my tests so 2150 is the best i have…

oh guys i forgot to mention that im applying to CALS not CAS! :)

oh sorry my bad lol- I’d say you have a great shot at Cornell then. Good luck and I hope we’ll see each other next year!!

I would say reach. Not high because of SAT’s, but you have a decent shot.

I am almost positive you will get in ED. Good luck.

they like to take top 10% so your in

You sound like a solid applicant. It’s impressive that you have leadership positions in so many different clubs. Does your school have a good relationship with Cornell, out of curiosity?

If your essays are good, I’d say you have a great chance of getting in.

Definite match

High Match low reach due to low SAT and no cool ECs

it’s a reach like most ivys but you have a decent shot…only problem is probably your average sat scores

thanks for chancing!

low reach! i think the only low point of your stats is your SAT, but the others are pretty solid. wish you luck!!

I think it’s a low reach for you, only because Ivy’s can be so unpredictable. Your stats are pretty strong, and you have great EC’s. I think you have a prettyyyyyy good chance, and more than likely will be admitted. Good luck on getting your results!

Cornell AEM (applied ED) - low reach
Vanderbilt (I have legacy) - low reach
Duke - high reach
UChicago - High Reach
Dartmouth - High reach
Penn - high reach
Columbia - high reach
Brown - reach
Johns Hopkins - match

Cornell would be a reach if you applied RD. Since you applied ED the only things holding you back are your GPA and your SATs, which, while good, are on the low side for Cornell. I would say that for ED Cornell is a low reach but it becomes a reach if you get deferred. Good Luck!

haha thanks! i find out in 2 days so i guess ill know for sure then :)

any last minute chances(im finding out tomorrow!!)? ill chance you back :)

Did you get in?
