Cornell Chances

I am a rising senior at a private school in Indianapolis. I have a 4.095 cumulative weighted GPA, 2050 SAT (1410 Math+Critical Reading), I am the paliamentarian of NHS, Delegate to Hoosier Boys State, Have taken APUSH and APLANG and will take APGOV and APECON and APLIT, 3 year captain of the varsity lacrosse team, section leader of the string orchestra, Junior Class Vice President, Senior Class President, 100+ hours community service, Member of the School Jazz Band, member of highest honor roll.
I am going to apply to Cornell, and I wanted to get some opinions on my chances. Thanks.

your ecs are okay, but your SAT score is low for an Ivy League. Get the SAT score up to 2150+ at least, and you have a pretty good chance. And by the way, what’s your unweighted GPA? You want it to be as close to 4.0 as possilbe

SAT is just fine. If you dont know. Cornell actually has lower SAT scores than the other ivys. GPA seems low :/

My Unweighted GPA is a 3.95

still just because it’s lower than the other Ivies doesn’t mean they are low; 1410 is pushing it for any top college so I suggest you retake at some point. That said, it’s not nearly as damaging as a low GPA so if you show your passion in ECs then you have a fairly good chance.

outofcuriosity what is your intended major(s)? :)
