10/10 for every teacher junior and senior years but not so good sophomore and freshmen years. Big people in community can vouch for me.

And please if you dont mind telling me what I can do to bolster my EC’s at alll? (even though it does not get much better than this)

I think the best way to help your ECs at this point would be to clean them up a little. Right now they’re a bit scattered. You have a lot of service stuff, but also some STEM-related stuff. What is your intended major? That will help you know where to focus your 10 ECs on the Common App.

How are your essays going to be? They need to be pretty amazing even for someone of your stats. Also, how many letters of recommendation are you submitting?

All in all, you have the stats and maybe you have the ECs, if you play them correctly. It’s a reach but it wouldn’t be unprecedented for you to get in.

My intended major is biology for pre-med. As a person though I really enjoy learning and helping kids learn, that’s why most of the things I am in are academic. My essays will be great; at least that’s what I believe and have been told. All of my states end-of-course writing exams I have aced and I’m often told I’m at a college level of writing. So my essays will undoubtedly be at the very least, good. What would you recommend for my EC’s to improve my chances? I believe I will give 4 or 5 letters of recommendation from my teachers - mostly math and science. If I can contact a former teacher of mine who can attest to my academic diligence I will , it also helps that she attended Cornell and Harvard.

bump

bump, please can I get some advice from people with your knowledge? My counselor does not know as much as you guys do, to illustrate this: he has never seen a 740 on the reading section in 30 years for the SAT.

I agree with everyone else, try to focus them a little.

Otherwise, you have the same chances as everyone else.

Chance back?

If you meant your concellor did not see anyone getting above 740 in the SAT reading section, in the last 30 years, then it goes against competiveness of your school in a big way!
Having said that, I still think you have a decent chance!
