CU Summer College - 3.5, in CAS course.
Uni GPA - 3.8, one of the top schools in Ontario

SAT: 2130 - both tries (how weird is that?!), above 700 in math and CR, writing in 600s.
AP: Out of 8: 3 3s, 3 4s, 2 5s. Mix of subjects: all the sciences
(bio, chem, phys, calc), a history, both economics, and a language.

Courses:
2nd year Organic Chem
Gen Chem
Gen Bio
Business
Poli Sci

Recs:
One Strong Science
One Medium / OKish Social Science
Both profs.

ECs:
HS:
12 - DECA, Model UN, Student Gov't. Leadership position in all 3.
11 - long list of non-leadership: sports, MUN, DECA.

Uni: Residence Council, MUN, medical volunteer trip to the Philippines (raising $, going on the trip)

Been concentrating on marks a lot more than my ECs this year.

I want to apply to CALS... but I don't have the English pre-req. Is that something they look past if I call them? Biological Sciences - major, but not sure, maybe AEM?

I'm also considering ILR because of the management aspect, but I'm worried that my sciences side won't appeal to them. ILR major... obv.

What about CAS since I'm really interdisciplinary - although the acceptance rate scares me.

Rejected ED.... really would like to get in for Sophomore Fall.

Do I have a good chance? Any thoughts on which college I should apply for?

oooook well you’re all over the place. you mention biological sciences, AEM, CALS, ILR, and CAS. figure out what you actually want to do and we can help you once you’ve narrowed down your choices and let us know what you want to do. your classes could potentially be pre-med classes but your ECs look more ILR-y. so what do you want to do once you’ve graduated?

Ok the problem is I’m not totally sure what I want to do with the rest of my life…

What are my chances for Biological Sciences at CALS and ILR. How’s that?

I don’t think I “fit” CAS that well, so let’s cross that out. And let’s get rid of AEM.

Bump. Chances for biological sciences at CALS. Forget ILR.
