Hopefully you guys did FA stuff

Not me.

Only fafsa and the profile.

Hey guys.
Anyone applying to Cornell’s hotel school?

a little more than a month to wait.

Mine was dated February 11th.

I’m guessing they can still be sent out probably until the middle of March or so.

I want a likely letter this is my top schoollll.

just sent out my returns today, anyone else sending late? The site said sending late will only change the date which the aid package is received (provided I get in)…lol

Stay positive!

But please remember that most admitted students never receive likely letters. I only received one because I was a recruited athlete.

@cle0patra When did you get your likely letter? Did you get it in the mail or email?

I’m in! Recruited athlete!

Does anyone know if sending financial aid documents online will be faster processed than it is for mailed paper copy of it?

@Iamme36 I got it by mail. The letter is dated February 11th but I received it on the 13th.

@Country20 Me too, and Congrats! What sport were you recruited for?

@lilmelonred I am honestly not sure. I initially was going to send my documents online but the file was too big so I ended up mailing a paper copy.

My problem is this. I’m not sure if I did this right. I made copies of my parents W2s and tax returns along with updated css profile to the processing center on Friday but I totally forgot to send my non filer statement along with it. So the following day, I sent the nonfiler statement online. I checked the status today and it seems like they processed my nonfiler statement but still says my parents tax return is not yet received or something.

This is one reach I actually feel decently about. Carnegie ECE not so much due to my lack of engineering ECs and MIT because… MIT. But with Cornell I wrote a damn good essay, and my interview went incredibly well, if that helps at all.
I don’t know, I’m cautiously optimistic!

@FastNeutrino, that is exactly how I feel as well… I know that Cornell really cares about the “Cornell factor” and I think I really nailed my essays and interviews. Crossing my fingers!

@lilmelonred Are you sure you sent your documents to Cornell’s financial aid office and not their admissions office? Did you send the W-2 and tax return copies all in the same package? My advice is to call them asap!

I put the w2s, tax return and updated css profile in the same package to the financial aid processing center… Maybe I should call Monday or tomorrow?

@lilmelonred I’d call tomorrow. Your CSS profile wasn’t done online???

It was done online but i made mistakes on there so i had to print it out and correct it.
