I’m sooo rejected from cornell ):

For weeks my status has been "Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review. " … can we not see the material list anymore?

What is the pattern of status updates ? what is going to be next ?

I second metoyou’s question.

From the Cornell Admin Page…

March 15, 2013

As Cornell admissions selection committees approach the end of regular decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornell’s online admission decision notification process.

Regular decision applicants will be able to view their admission decision online on Thursday, March 28, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact regular decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing their decisions online. Please note that your decision will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

You do not need to do anything further at this time. We will post a new message on our website once we have sent the email instructions for viewing your decision online.

Please note that transfer admission decisions are communicated by letter on a rolling basis beginning in mid-April.
…

@Wendeli, where did you hear that today was the last day? Last year, they sent out likelies in the late teens of March, so I’d be surprised if we even got them today… I’m guessing if anything they’ll come around the 18th or 19th. But from dob13’s post it doesn’t look like they’ll be sending them at all this year…

there you go !
@barvoets- I’m guessing if anything they’ll come around the 18th or 19th. …Do you mean -THE HOPEFULLS ??

yes i do mean the hopefuls (likelies haha)

have internationals been informed separately ? does anyone know …its the same update or they have been sent separate emails…

There is nothing in my inbox!! I’m an int’l.

hopingforbetter; no hint of passport copy or IT returns?

NO!!:(

This is why I strongly think I am rejected!

The 15th is the last day ivies can send out likelies. I read it in some publication. So it sounds like Cornell will be sending them out today (if at all) and a few lucky kids will find them in their mailboxes in a few days.

I don’t want to look at this page anymore. it’s making me too depressed. So they finish reading applications. Does this mean now they are deciding on who to admit and who to reject?

What are you two talking about? As an international applicant, should I have received something?

I got a likely today.

I am crying and screaming everywhere atm brb I cannot do this anymore ****

Did any females who applied engineering get a likely? What did it say? and what are your stats? If I didn’t get one, does that mean I’m rejected?

Was it a letter or an email?

I dont know if female engineers at CALS are suppose to get one?

Hah, I def didn’t get one. Goodbye AEM. I still got a Duke Likely congrats yall

Email for a Diversity thing. :
