My school required us to hand in our EEs at the end of IB1, at the time we thought it was ridiculous that they made us hand them in so early, but now I’m so thankful!
I know for a fact that I am the only one applying ED from my state and probably my country. (I’m from Bolivia)
@RSalvatierra how do you know with such certainty? /lucky
@RSalvatierra don’t forget to take into account all Bolivians living in the U.S or anywhere in the world.
@rebellax7 it means last year, it says class of 2015
@chootimes thats good haha most people I know got accepted early into the University of Georgia so I’m like the last one waiting
I kind of feel bad for the admissions officers doing the AMA at this point… seems like its kind of backfiring on them a bit lol
Once they started on the affirmative action questions it all went downhill
@CCSenioritis I’d imagine this is like walking through a minefield for them XD Their PR team must have some balls
@plzacceptmee you are so lucky, my school is extremely unorganized and is making us cram our IAs, TOK, EE, FOAs, and written tasks all in the same two months.
And uni applications
And mid year exams
And life
I need Cornell to accept me or i’ll lose my sanity I swear.
@MariaScott I travelled to a few countries to experience the new cultures and traditions; figured it’s something i can write about in my essays. Then got a brief internship, then slept like a log.
What is this code language. TOK IA EE FOA
… the redcoats are coming
@MariaScott The only thing I did was go on vacation so I’m in the same boat lol. But luckily I did intern at my city’s DA office during the school year so I had that to add to my resume.
Did anyone go to the Cornell high school summer program this last summer?
And do you think having gone would help you get in?
@larrythelobster did u do anything nutrition related? Cause my school doesn’t offer any courses related to nutrition
“IB”
There is just so much online regarding what to do, what not to do, etc. I am starting to get really anxious because every webpage says something different. I just want to get my decision over with. Please Thursday, hurry up.
@CCSenioritis yes, she is a freshman. She applied for an ambassador position and was selected after quite a lengthy process. Anyway, she does info sessions and webinars and such.
do y’all know if the decision notification can be checked on a mobile phone? or does it have to be on a computer… i know it’s the first time for all of us but some of us certainly seem to know more hehe
